Cape Institute for Safe AI Co-Working Space Application

The Cape Institute for Safe AI (CISAI) is a South African non-profit organisation focused on building AI safety capacity. CISAI runs fellowships, courses, reading groups, hackathons, and events to produce better outcomes relating to the development and deployment of advanced AI systems.

The data you enter here will never be shared outside our organisation without your permission.

If you are accepted, you will be able to access our beautiful co-working space in Lifestyle on Kloof Street, Cape Town. We expect members to give back to the community in some way (collaborating on projects, volunteering at events, or sharing your insights on AI safety) and to engage with the other members of the space.

We typically take 2–3 weeks to process applications, but if your request is more urgent we can definitely review it sooner. Feel free to reach out at info@cisai.co if that’s the case or if you have any questions.
