Community Dinner Host Application Form

Welcome to the table
On the evening of May 28th, as the first festival day of Katapult Future Fest winds down at Ruigoord Village, something quieter begins. Across Amsterdam, front doors open, tables are set, and strangers sit down together to share a meal.
This is the KFF Community Dinner - a tradition since 2019 that turns homes into spaces where real conversation happens. No panels. No pitches. Just food, honesty, and the kind of exchange that only intimacy allows.
This year's festival theme is Enter the Metamorphosis, built on the idea of imaginal cells - small clusters hidden within the caterpillar that activate when the old structures dissolve; these cells find each other and together hold the blueprint for what comes next.
That's what happens around a dinner table. People who didn't know each other arrive, sit down, and discover they're holding pieces of the same puzzle. Your home becomes the cocoon. Your guests become each other's imaginal cells. The conversation becomes the blueprint.
We're looking for hosts in Amsterdam who'd like to open their homes on the evening of May 28th. You should be located within a 30–40 minute commute of Amsterdam's western harbor area (Ruigoord Village).
What you offer:
- A table for 8 guests (or up to 16 if you co-host with a friend)
- A home-cooked meal - vegetarian is required but you have full freedom over your menu
- An evening of genuine connection, guided by a few conversation prompts we'll provide
What you receive:
- A complimentary KFF2026 festival ticket (2 tickets for co-hosts of 16+ guests)
- An invitation to the Host Gathering in Amsterdam May 7th, 19:00-21:30 where you'll meet your fellow hosts and step into the concept together
- A host kit with the evening's conversation framework, a welcome speech, and a few surprises
