Applied AI Engineering Intern

Location - Onsite or Hybrid
Duration: 8-16 weeks
We are building an integrated AI system for research, development and analysis.We are operating with a services-led, productized delivery motion: we help customers ship a measurable AI fast mode.We are looking for exceptional candidates interested in working at an early-stage startup with an ambitious mission.
You will work directly on features used in AI design, execution, testing, and observability. You should be comfortable moving across frontend, backend, and AI-adjacent tasks, and you should be excited by shipping practical product work instead of toy demos.
What You Will Do
- Be excited to build systems from the ground up with high ownership and creativity.
- Building and training beyond LLM Models using different architectures.
- Help wire APIs, data models, and service-to-service integration
- Debug real product issues and help improve reliability and performance
- Write clean, testable code and document what you ship
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience and interest in working with LLMs - prompting techniques, RAG systems, agent frameworks, etc.
- Current student or recent graduate or pursuing Ph.D in AI, data science, data analytics, computer science, engineering, or a related field

- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, or both

- Comfortable with APIs, JSON, SQL, and Git-based workflows

- Able to learn quickly and work independently with good product judgment

What Success Looks Like
In the first 60 days, you ship meaningful product work, close bugs without heavy supervision, and contribute to at least one customer-facing feature or internal platform improvement.

Recruitment Process
- If shortlisted we'll arrange a 15-minute call to introduce ourselves and provide an in-depth overview of the role.
- Then, we will invite you for a technical interview. You'll present past work, answer relevant technical Q and A style questions, and perform a mini live coding assessment.
Lastly, we'll call you in for a final interview where you'll meet our team and get a glimpse of our everyday activities. This will include a technical walkthrough and a team chat. We give you a decision within four days
