As an intern, you will work closely with the product and engineering team to test new features, identify bugs, and improve the user experience across the platform. This role combines product thinking, QA, and light engineering work.
The platform uses a Dockerized backend built with Python and Flask and a frontend built with Next.js, giving interns exposure to a modern full stack architecture used in production AI products.
Responsibilities
Test new and existing features across the product to ensure reliability and usability
Identify, reproduce, and clearly document bugs or usability issues
Review user flows from onboarding to daily workflows
Assist with QA testing before releases and verify fixes after updates
Provide feedback on how features can be clearer and easier for contractors to use
Work with engineers to troubleshoot issues
Contribute small bug fixes or improvements when possible
Preferred Skills
Curiosity and strong attention to detail
Ability to think from a user’s perspective and identify friction points
Basic familiarity with coding such as Python or JavaScript is helpful but not required
Interest in AI products, product development, or software engineering
Willingness to learn tools like Git, Docker, and modern web frameworks

Duration: 3 months (Starting around first week of April)
Commitment: approximately 20 to 30 hours per week
Compensation: NPR 20,000 per month
Growth opportunity: strong performers may be considered for a full time Software Engineer role with potential equity of up to 2 percent vesting over time
This role provides a hands on opportunity to work on a live AI product and contribute directly to improving ContractorOps AI.
