Realize to Act is an education-access nonprofit that partners with communities and schools to expand access to essential learning resources and youth-centered changemaking.
Today, Realize to Act provides thousands of school supplies and backpacks annually, currently to students in 53 schools, engages young leaders in local action, and is building tech infrastructure to connect communities and close persistent opportunity gaps.
Their work has been recognized nationally, including an honorary Key to the City, the Holocaust and Humanity Center Upstander Awards, the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, the Congressional Gold Medal Award, and as an Allstate Foundation Youth Changemaker.

- Will lead and implement Realize to Act's projects across outreach, research, tech, design, strategy, youth engagement, and resource distribution from August 2026 to July 2027
- Work with partners and stakeholders in the philanthropy, media, business, education, and nonprofit sectors
- Commit ~5 hours of work a week, consisting of a weekly virtual meeting, and additional meetings, asynchronous work, and timely communication as needed, with opportunities to continue being involved in the future
- Understands that this is a volunteer position and is not paid, but any costs associated with Realize to Act work will be covered by the organization
