Before anyone dances, someone builds the floor. Before the lights go up, someone runs the cable. INIT is built by hand at Elsewhere Springs — a 67-acre property on Mt. Tuam, Salt Spring Island — by a crew of people who show up with tools and do the actual work.
We welcome skilled tradespeople and capable general labour equally. What we're looking for is honesty — about what you can do, what you can bring, and whether you'll follow through. The build is physical, sometimes unglamorous, and one of the most essential parts of making this festival happen.
