Join Europe Magazine as a Web Developer

Europe Magazine helps people understand the European continent as a whole — because there are news, developments and stories in Europe that matter across borders. We reach millions every month across our social media channels and have built a community of more than 100,000 followers — and we want to keep growing. To do that, we’re looking for creative minds who want to contribute their skills and develop themselves in the process.
We work fully remotely across Europe and coordinate our projects through our own custom-built dashboard, which allows every team member to collaborate from almost anywhere.

💡 Please note: All positions are voluntary and unpaid. Everyone in our team contributes their time and expertise because they believe in our shared mission.

Job description:

Our digital presence is key to how people experience Europe Magazine. We’re looking for Web Developers who can help improve, maintain, and expand our web and dashboard systems.

Tasks

- Work on our custom-built dashboard used by the entire Europe Magazine team

- Support web development tasks such as website optimisation, feature development, and integrations

- Ensure performance, usability, and scalability of our digital tools

Your Profile

- Experience in front-end or full-stack web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks welcome)

- Interest in digital journalism, design, or user experience

- Independent and reliable way of working

- Examples of previous projects or GitHub portfolio
