Two hands-on workshops for designers who want to build and ship real software with AI. The first gets you from zero to a live URL. The second gets you building against your design system, with the model connected to your actual tools.
Each is a half-day session, about 3.5 hours with breaks. We’re gauging interest before we set dates, so tell us which one fits where you are.
With Eli Woolery and Bobby Hughes
Get set up with Claude Code, GitHub, and Vercel, then build something small and personal, save your progress, and put it on the web. You’ll practice the change-preview-deploy loop until it feels routine, and learn what to do when something breaks. You leave with a live URL you can text to someone that same afternoon.
With Eli Woolery and Aarron Walter
The intermediate skill isn’t better prompting. It’s building a better environment for the model to work in: specs and CLAUDE.md files that steer the output, design tokens that keep it on-system, and MCP connections (including Figma) that give it real design data. We’ll also cover how engineers want to work with a designer who now ships code.
Prerequisite: you’ve already shipped something, through Workshop 1 or on your own.
