About the job

This is a fully remote freelance opportunity.

We’re looking for a Junior Analytics & Data Visualization Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team as a freelancer. If you have a passion for metric analysis, and data visualization, this might be your perfect freelance role! You’ll be responsible for configuring web and app events, creating dashboards, and contributing to improving marketing and product performance.

As a Junior Analytics & Data Visualization Specialist, you’ll…

• Configure and monitor events on websites and apps using Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Set up and analyze data using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Build and maintain dashboards using data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, PostHog, and others
Analyze metrics and KPIs to optimize marketing strategies and digital product performance
Focus on strategies involving SEO, CRO, and user behavior analysis
Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to identify key insights
Generate reports and provide data-driven analysis
Extract and Manage data using Google Sheet/Excel

About you

You'll be a great fit for this position if you...
• Have experience with data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4, PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar
Are proficient in Google Tag Manager (GTM) for event setup
Are interested in analyzing marketing acquisition metrics and digital product performance
Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Can work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments
Are skilled with Google Workspace applications (especially Docs and Sheets)
Enjoy staying up-to-date with the latest Analytics trends and technology, and are a quick learner ready to embrace new challenges.

Super Important

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (bilingual or native)
Located in a flexible time zone adaptable to Latin America and North America (no more than a 3-hour difference from Mexico City).

Nice to have

If you have more to offer, these additional skills will make you stand out:
• Prior experience in Marketing Analytics or Product Analytics
Basic or intermediate knowledge of SQL
Basic understanding of JavaScript and HTML
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in project and team management tools like Slack, Notion, and ClickUp
