Pro-D Day: Estuary Invaders: Day Camp at Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre

Join us for an exciting, on-the-land adventure! Led by our amazing educators and volunteers, children will explore various regions of the estuary, learning to identify key species and their habitat. We'll be outside regardless of weather, so please dress for whatever the day brings.
Parents, please pack a hat, sunscreen, change of clothes, dry socks, lunch, snacks and water bottle. If its raining, please provide wearable rain gear, as umbrellas aren't ideal.
All program materials including field journal, are provided.

I understand that Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre (CENC) Staff and volunteers will make every reasonable effort to keep my child safe. That said, I also understand that CENC assumes no liability for accidents or unavoidable injuries that may occur outside of our control.

All of our staff and volunteers in camps have up-to-date first aid certification. In the event of an accident, staff will respond to immediate safety needs; basic first aid; and then call the parents as soon as possible; to let them know what happened, or to come and seek medical attention for their child.
In the unlikely event of a major medical event, we'd like to be able to call an ambulance on your child's behalf, before, or at the same time as we call you.
