Individual Development Plan

An Individual Development Plan is a tool to assist people to reach short & long-term career goals. It is intended to create clarity & objectives around current & future focused job performance. IDPs are NOT a performance appraisal tool.
Mark Murphy, a New York Times best-selling author, states, "Vividly describing your goals in written form is strongly associated with goal success." According to Dr. Gail Matthews, a psychology professor at Dominican University in California, people are 42% more likely to achieve their dreams by simply writing down their aspirations.
