Our next monthly Sabha will be held at Durham College - G213 (2000 Simcoe St N Oshawa, ON- L1G 0C5) on Tuesday May 20. The scheduled time for Sabha is 07:30 pm followed by Mahaprasad (Dinner).

Dr. Rakesh Kantaria is a distinguished educator, visionary leader, and accomplished electrical engineer with nearly 30 years of international experience. He has mentored 10 Ph.D. students and published 20+ research papers. Known for his dynamic, human-centered teaching style, Dr. Kantaria has positively impacted over 5,000 students globally.

After serving as Chair of the School of Electrical Engineering abroad, he immigrated to Canada in 2011. He now serves as a full-time professor at Seneca Polytechnic, integrating theory with hands-on learning and building strong industry ties, helping over 150 students start successful careers.
Beyond academic, Dr. Kantaria has supported over 300 newcomers in Canada, conducting 400+ mentorship sessions, and earning recognition as a Top Teaching Voice and Top Electrical Engineering Voice on LinkedIn. He is also an active speaker for NGOs like BAPS, VYO, OACETT, and Sanatan Mandir, and serves as a Board Director at CHCCC.
Dr. Kantaria’s contributions have earned him prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Educator Award (OACETT), the Excellence in Education Award (CHCCC), and the Teaching Excellence Award (Centennial College). Recently, he was honored with OACETT’s highest Fellow Award and recognized as one of the "Leading Professors & Academicians of 2025" by Business Talkz Magazine. His career is a true testament to educational excellence and community leadership.
