Rob Cooper is running to be your next city councillor in Ward 8’s upcoming by-election. He has lived on Hamilton Mountain for over 47 years and in Ward 8 for more than 22. A graduate of Sherwood Secondary and McMaster University, Rob is a long-time community volunteer who understands the challenges our neighbourhoods face and he’s ready to deliver real results.

His campaign is focused on practical, common-sense solutions: tackling violent crime, repairing our roads, ending tax increases that exceed inflation, scrapping the rain and vacant unit taxes, and addressing the housing crisis. Rob brings experienced, trusted leadership and is committed to making Ward 8 more affordable, safer, and stronger.
