Affinity Belonging Camp West 2.0 Application

Welcome to the Affinity Belonging Camp West 2.0 application form! We’re excited to see new and returning faces and experience the unique magic of AB Camp in our second year!

Last year we had a magical mix of 70 campers, 65% of which identified as queer; the total included 35% PGM/BiPoC, 35% Trans/Non-binary, and 30% percent White/Cis allies.

We will continue to prioritize PGM/BIPoC and Trans/non-binary applicants this year, and in addition to BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ folx, we welcome people who hold other systemically undervalued identities to apply. We will do our best to accommodate people with unique access needs of all kinds—from physical, to sensory, neurodiverse, and financial.

This means we will have limited spaces for folks who don’t primarily identify within our target groups.

However, we have Liberation Lab June 29-July 2 especially (but not exclusively) for persons who identify as both white & cis-gendered.

We also strongly encourage anyone who did not attend AB Camp last year (or has not had basic anti-oppression training) to attend Liberation Lab or another similar event prior to attending AB Camp West 2.0.

Important Information

Camp is from Tuesday, August 5th, at 2pm through Monday August 11th at 4pm. Held at a location near Belfair, WA (Seattle Airport).

Even if you're unable to attend this event due to limited space availability, please know that there will be more Affinity-Belonging Camps created in the future.
