Welcome! Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2026 Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards (WSLA). These awards recognize exceptional women leaders making a lasting impact in sustainability.
Nominations for the WSLA Awards are open to:
Self-Nominations: Women leaders may nominate themselves for consideration.
Peer Nominations: Colleagues, peers, or mentors may nominate an outstanding woman in sustainability and complete the application on their behalf.
To qualify, nominees must have:
At least 15 years of professional work experience,
A minimum of 7 years of experience in sustainability leadership, and
A minimum of 7 years managing others (whether in sustainability or in different fields)
Applicants or nominators should be prepared to provide a resume, a cover letter, and up to three letters of support.
All qualified applicants will be asked to complete the full application and pay a submission fee collected via Zeffy at the end of the form. Applications received by October 12, 2025, qualify for Early Bird rates. After this date, fees will increase. There are three fee tiers:
Corporate $250 ($350 after Oct 12)
Non-Profit $200 ($250 after Oct 12)
Government $150 ($200 after Oct 12)
