1. Climate Safe Pensions - HB 2405

This bill would compel the Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) to support shareholder resolutions in companies it invests in. The resolutions seek to reduce these companies' contribution to climate change, and to integrate sustainability factors into how the WSIB calculates investment risks.

2. Supporting pilot projects for full-neighborhood thermal heating networks - HB 2131

4. Boosting the building code to support more home types - HB 2071

5. ReWRAP Act - HB 2049

The ReWRAP Act will make producers of packaging and paper products responsible for their products' full lifecycle while providing all residents with access to equitable recycling. The bill will incentivize producers to reduce unnecessary packaging and make packaging more sustainable.

6. Deception by law enforcement officers during interrogations - HB 1062

8. Navigator Energy Upgrade Program - HB 1391

Position: SUPPORT
Deadline: Friday 2/2 by 11:00 PM
The Navigator Program would help coordinate the various energy options available to community members. It would also serve as an information hub to synthsize the array of energy efficiency and weatherization programs available and to conduct education outreach to residents about their options.

This pair of companion bills promotes dangerous, unregulated growth in rural communities, which will be harmful to low income communities, farmers, and wildlife preservation. Please take action to oppose both the House and Senate bills.
