Fairwork AI

Thank you for your interest in the Fairwork AI Project. We are conducting research on how fairness and accountability can guide the design and governance of AI training and data work. This project initiates a conversation about how those who contribute to artificial intelligence—data workers, students, and civic actors—can participate in shaping ethical and equitable AI systems.

Our goal is to improve awareness and media literacy among data workers, student leaders, and civic groups on issues of AI labor, privacy, and accountability. All contributions will be treated respectfully and handled according to the principles of data justice and public accountability. This project is supported by the Pulitzer Center.
