nostr survey

hi nostrich 👋

this one-question survey aims to give nostr developers and designers a clear picture of how users currently feel about the protocol, tools, and features.

whether you're a protocol founder, a heavy contributor, or just starting to explore the network, this question is for you.

the survey will run quarterly, creating an ongoing sentiment index.

why we ask for npub
nostr is an open protocol, so each npub's activity is public (like mine).

by collecting voluntary responses and matching them with one's activity, we can perform statistical analysis that not only reflects where we stand today but also offers insights on promising directions or potential dead ends.

no raw data will be published – only aggregated results.

about the survey
v0.1.0 - based on sean ellis' pmf score. further development planned after a successful introduction.
about me
i'm tom, and i work with data. years ago, i looked into how facebook influences opinions for my psych master’s thesis. now, i’m curious to look under nostr’s hood and provide the community with a sort of compass for high-level navigation. this could be really useful in foss, sharpening our focus on what actually makes a difference.
what's next
submit your response and spread the word! i’ll kick off the analysis with a minimum of 100 responses. i will publish the report on nostr.
if you'd like to talk about the survey, its applications, ways for improvement, find me here.
