The Library Presents - Written Application for 2026 Performances (Spring and Autumn)

Your Proposal

Short description selling your performance to the public. (80 words approx. / 600 characters). This will be used in the menu (if your are shortlisted) which the public use to choose what events they want on the final programme.

One inspiring, high quality, professional image representing your activity.

This will be used to represent your arts activity (if shortlisted) in the menu, social media etc.

Link to a video trailer of your performance (if you have one, if none leave blank)

This will be used to help assess the quality of your application and if you share a public link to represent your arts activity (if shortlisted) in the menu.

The detail on your proposal 800-1000 words (this will help us shortlist events for the menu stage).

Please include information on the following:
Content: What is the content (include any plot) and is it themed? (include any connections with Black History, LGBTQIA+, Environment and Climate)
Audience: Who is your content for? (age, interests, skill level)
Sensory Experience: Describe what an audience will experience - see, hear, feel etc.
Capacity: Is there a maximum capacity?
Experience: What is your experience of delivering the type of content you are proposing?

How long is the content? (running time? intervals? wrap-arounds?)

What is your MINIMUM space requirement in METRES (width, depth, height)?
