SECEC Education Centre Application

Since this was introduced in 2020, more than 60 centres have been recognised by SECEC as centres of reference for education in shoulder and elbow surgery. The 5-year recognition is granted by the Qualification Committee based on several criteria including surgical volume, facilities and techniques, team qualification, publications etc...

Before you start the application, you need to collect all requested information :

- short description of your centre,

- list of SECEC surgeons within the education centre (minimum 2 SECEC full members including at least 1 SECEC Certified surgeon),

- number of shoulder and elbow surgical procedure per year,

- list of indexed articles (only related to shoulder and elbow) published within the last 5 years (max 5 articles),

- letter of recommendation signed by your country's National Delegate (not required for renewals).

Applicants must be SECEC full members.

Should your application be approved, your centre will be included in the Education Centres list. You will also receive an updated logo to showcase your recognition across email, social media, and your website.
