SECEC Education Centre Application

Since this was introduced in 2020, more than 60 centres have been recognised by SECEC as centres of reference for education in shoulder and elbow surgery. The 5-year recognition is granted by the Qualification Committee based on several criteria including surgical volume, facilities and techniques, team qualification, publications etc...

Before you start the application, you need to collect all requested information :

- short description of your centre,

- list of SECEC surgeons within the education centre (minimum 1 SECEC full member),

- number of shoulder and elbow surgical procedure per year,

- list of indexed articles (only related to shoulder and elbow) published within the last 5 years (max 5 articles),

- letter of recommendation signed by your country's National Delegate (not required for renewals).

Applicants must be SECEC full members.

Should your application be approved, your Centre will be included in the SECEC Education Centres list and you will receive a file with a personalised logo to be added to your email signature, social media profile or website as a recognition of your specific expertise in Europe.
