Emergency Volunteer Application

We need your help to support those who have been affected by the horrible acts of violence that communities have faced across Liverpool over the past week.

In light of recent events in the UK, we urgently seek volunteers to provide support to individuals affected by racial and religious trauma, as well as trauma from the recent riots. If you are a medical doctor, clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, or other mental health professional registered with an approved body, we need your expertise and compassion.

We are also looking for individuals with trauma-informed practice training, signposting training, and those registered on the DBS update scheme.

Your role will involve:

- Listening and providing emotional support
- Signposting to appropriate services
- Organising and coordinating support efforts for those affected

Your skills and dedication can make a significant difference in the lives of those suffering from the impacts of racial and religious trauma and the aftermath of the recent riots.
