You will be creating exploratory hero/design concepts and full desktop only landing page designs. The responsive views will be handled by another designer.
A design concept is simply a shot of a hero section or a preview of another section. What you would typically find on dribbble.
What is expected is that you can do a creative rebrand or a shot like this in ~3 hours.
There will be an initial trial run that pay $15/h for 10 hours. So essentially $150 to make 3 design concepts.
You are welcome to use these designs in your own portfolio. We won't be using them for anything outside of just this trial run.
If all goes well and you trial run is successful you will be paid $30 - $50/ hour to make creative designs depending on what you can do. If you are quick and can make quality work, than you will end up on the higher end of hourly.
Payments are settled for tasks completed, each Saturday.
Not required for the trial, but you will be required to use Discord and be able to reply at least once every 24 hours.
Monday / Tuesday and Thursday/Friday is our team schedule with a max of 6 hours per day. So roughly 24-25 hours per week. Your time zone is irrelevant, there is no set times on when you need to be available. Tasks will be due midnight your local time.
We don't do a 40h work week as this setup lets everyone explore new ideas and work on side projects to improve their skillsets.
We are looking for somone who is passionate about design, and loves to explore new ideas. Please share 3 links to figma links you have designed as part of your learning journey.
I understand client projects can't be shared, as some of them are under NDAs. However if you are really a passionate about design, than you would be exploring ideas on on a regular basis. There is no excuse for not having 3 unique designs that you made that you are the most proud of. If you do not have 3 links, no need to apply. You will not be considered.
