Friends of Richard Bilkszto Board of Directors Application Form

Richard Bilkszto was a beloved Toronto principal who fought injustice and discrimination during his 24-year career. He believed that all students should have an equal opportunity to get ahead based on hard work and achievement. Tragically, Richard took his life after being bullied over a false charge of racism.
Friends of Richard Bilkszto is a registered Canadian charity that honours Richard's legacy and work to build a better education system for future generations. We disburse an annual scholarship and award in his name.
We are looking for new Directors to join our Board. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and you can expect to hear back from us within 2 weeks of submission.
Time commitment is approximately 3 hours a month. We are looking for Directors to join for a one year, renewable term starting in spring 2025.
Directors are responsible for overseeing and managing the affairs of the organization. This is a volunteer role, and is open to all residents of Canada over the age of 18.
