Arcarae: The Marketer.
Arcarae's mission is to help humanity remember the power within; enabling individuals to remember, discover, understand, and embody who they truly are, unlocking their ability to freely express their unique lived experience without fear or compromise.
Our current product is an immersive AI platform that visualizes your inner landscape as a living universe, guiding users through profound self-exploration and authentic self-discovery. Our research develops computational models of cognition and internal world models, from MIRROR's implementation of inner monologue in LLMs to pioneering architectures for higher-order cognition and intuition; the overlooked dimensions of intelligence. Founded by Nicole Summer Hsing, she is seeking one founding marketer to co-create and communicate Arcarae's distinctive aesthetic across all social platforms.

the marketer i am looking for is one who is more artist than anything. perhaps new and young and flexible in mind, with a curiosity to learn how to be more than just marketing or social media manager or designer and ebb and flow between all. creating the materials themselves, learning the dynamics of social media, how to communicate emotion, a vibe, through visuals and language; these are all part of your role as the marketer at arcarae.
arcarae has a very specific aesthetic and taste that you will create with, communicate, and learn about in collaboration with me. the ability to fully understand its aesthetic and branding is crucial. you will work very closely with me for the first few weeks to learn the current creation workflow, aesthetic, and brand guidelines.
this role is likely of interest for someone who loves the field(s) of design, psychology, HCI, marketing, or/and other creative humanities. you do not need to know much right now (in fact, you are ideally a college senior or around that age), but simply be flexible and ready to learn as well as be passionate about art and human behavior.
this is the marketer i am looking for to join Arcarae.
- Learning the current workflow for creating and curating marketing materials end-to-end (stable diffusion videos, visual graphics, and tweets/captions) [don't worry it requires no coding]
- Posting marketing materials on X/Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
- Doing market research on trending hashtags and similar company social pages
- Collaborating alongside Nicole Hsing to discuss in openness, curiosity, and creativity Arcarae’s philosophy / aesthetic, its creation process, and communicating the brand effectively
- Open and excited to do everything from graphics/video/textual creation to social media posting to social research
- Independence and passion for creating that drives you without a constant need for monitoring or checking in; the work alone should excite you to wake up each day, create, and guide you
- You are open, curious, and passionate enough to learn anything and everything about distilling vibe into art, understanding how art compels emotion, and an attunement to people (can also be considered high empathy)
- A willingness to let your skillset shine, but pick up any software / skills / tools to produce tangible results
- You honestly do not need to have a lot background knowledge; Nicole Hsing can teach you the workflows and point you in the right directions, but a passion to learn on your own is key and a love of rabbit holing into things
- You should be passionate about the following concepts: human behavior, psychology, memetics & virality, creativity, emotion, expression, art, beauty
- The present aesthetic for Arcarae resonates with you in almost an unexplainable way (note that this aesthetic is highly opinionated and will not change; thus why flexibility, resonance, and openness is key)
- Preferably you are in or are studying one of the fields: design, marketing, HCI, philosophy, art, psychology, ect. but honestly if you feel as though you have always wanted to be in a role like this, please apply right away
- Ideally you are a Senior in college with an expected graduation date of May 2026 / a new graduate / around the age of 20-22
- Direct ownership and leadership of the entire creative marketing pipeline—from conceptual ideation to aesthetic execution to public release on social platforms
- Compensated access to all necessary design / marketing software and subscriptions for creation (i.e. Figma, Midjourney, CapCut, FLORA AI, ect.)
- The opportunity to learn and then shape the visual and emotional language of a company at the intersection of AI, creative technology, and human flourishing; this is not simply maintaining a brand, but learning how to actively expand and create it
- Growth and social media marketing mentorship from Nicole Hsing who has organically built a combined reach of ~40k across platforms and previously built three consumer social products; you'll learn the strategies behind virality and authentic content
- Recognition and distribution for your work on social platforms via Nicole Hsing’s platform and Arcarae’s (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)
- Direct lived and work experience spanning across several sectors: marketing, design, and growth (essentially this is a very rare, unique role where you will become a jack-of-all-trades and exceptional at all three)

Compensation is entirely based upon the individual and will not be disclosed until during the hiring process. Expect a competitive salary, equity, and an in-person workspace.
This role can start as remote / hybrid, but the full-time position will be an in-person only role in San Francisco, California. We will be in office five days a week. See below for more details.

How the Hiring Process Works
At Arcarae, we do not hire full-time immediately.
We engage in a three stage hiring process to ensure that the prospective employee is the best fit, starting from an initial contract/intern/collaboration role, then scaling the individual into a full-time employee.
For the Marketer role specifically, the specific hiring process is as follows:
Stage 1: Social Media / Growth Intern
If selected based upon application, you will be first hired as an intern focusing on social media content creation for Arcarae across Instagram, TikTok, and X/Twitter. You will work closely with Nicole Hsing, and by the end, own end-to-end the creation and posting process for all three platforms. This period will last from around October 2025 to January 2025.
Stage 2: Expand responsibilities to branding and design
If Stage 1 goes well, we will expand your responsibilities to also include branding and design. This includes long-term asset creation (i.e. banners, website graphics, product animations, app store screenshots), more participation on the creative direction and freedom in exploring different mediums / styles, and trend analyses (i.e. hashtags, posting analytics). If you reach this stage, it is extremely likely you will be offered a full-time role. This period will last from January 2025 to May 2026.
If Stage 2 goes well, you will be offered a full time role at Arcarae as the Marketer. This is when we will discuss all employment details, next steps, and the future in full.
