Gram Jyoti was started its intervention in the year 1998 when a team of social activists felt the need to have a platform to work for the poor and downtrodden. The members practiced the ideology of Gandhiji’s concept of rural reconstruction and development, SARVODAYA and ANTYODAYA in which real development and upliftment lies in the hands of community

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible painter . The work may include wall painting, building painting, and artistic or awareness-related paintings at different locations. If you have experience and are passionate about making a difference through your work, please fill out this form.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Basic understanding of how NGOs function and operate at the grassroots level. (Prior experience in the social sector or NGO will be preferred)

• Physically fit and comfortable with on-site field/Office work including working at heights or under varied environmental conditions.

• Proven experience in painting work, including surface preparation, color mixing, and paint application techniques (brush, roller, spray).

• Basic understanding of tools and equipment maintenance, including brushes, rollers, spray guns etc.

• Must be able to read and write in both Hindi and English for basic documentation.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to create visually appealing and community-engaging paintings that convey clear messages and attract community attention.

• Skilled in drawing vector illustrations and clip arts suited for awareness campaigns and public communication.

• Strong sense of color theory and combination, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting, and weather-resistant finishes.
