๐Ÿชจ๐Ÿšœ Enhanced Rock Weathering Carbon Credit Methodology - Public Consultation

Riverse is a carbon crediting standard, and weโ€™re excited to announce a 30-day public consultation on our Enhanced Rock Weathering methodology. This consultation is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and collaboration in the development of each methodology.
This methodology was developed by Riverse with the support of the Riverse Enhanced Rock Weathering Methodology Working Group members and other expert contributors. We would like to especially acknowledge Cascade Climate's "Foundations for Carbon Dioxide Removal Quantification in ERW Deployments" report, which provided essential technical guidance and framing that informed many of the recommendations and assumptions adopted in this methodology.
The goal of this consultation is to gather input from a broad range of stakeholders to ensure the methodology is both scientifically sound and practically applicable. Your feedback will directly influence the refinement of our methodology and its broader implementation in the carbon crediting market. We aim to strike a balance between methodological rigor and feasibility, keeping in mind the real-world challenges that project developers and other stakeholders face.
Your participation is crucial in ensuring that this methodology is robust, credible, and effective in certifying novel carbon storage technologies. Thank you for contributing to the future of carbon crediting! ๐Ÿ™
Why do you have an interest to participate?
โœ”๏ธ Ensure you can use the methodology easily
โœ”๏ธ Ensure we enable a wide range of relevant enhanced rock weathering projects to use the methodology
โœ”๏ธ Ensure the methodology meets the scientific rigor needed for issuing high-quality carbon credits
How to answer this consultation?
โœ”๏ธ You can complete the form in multiple sessions (your answers will automatically be saved).
โœ”๏ธ Some questions are mandatory (marked by a "*") because they are pivotal for us. The other questions are optional (but any additional answer is highly appreciated!).
