Nectar Retreat Booking Form and Deposit

Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist until we receive a $500 CAD deposit and you agree to these terms and conditions. You will be asked for payment upon completion of this form.

If you cancel your booking at any point, you forfeit the initial $500 deposit and all payments received up to the day of cancellation.

Terms & Conditions

You agree that these Terms and Conditions form the agreement under which we will supply Services to you. Please read these Terms and Conditions  carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

a) using or purchasing our Services including ticking an online acceptance box when completing our order form or ordering our Services via email or phone to book your Retreat/Day Trip/Event/Class;

 b) confirming by email that you accept these Terms; 

c) instructing us to proceed with the Services; or 

d) making any payment for the Services and any Booking you acknowledge you have read these Terms and contact us if needed, that you accepted and will comply with these Terms, and that you are 18 years or older. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT USE OR PURCHASE OUR SERVICES FROM US OR DO ANY OF THE ABOVE ACTS.

1. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained are correct.

2. The customer or client shall pay Rise Yoga and Wellness a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to the sum of $500 USD or Euros for international retreats, $500 Canadian dollars for national retreats, and $200 Canadian dollars for local retreats.

3. The remaining 50% of the balance is due 120 days before the start date of the retreat. The full balance for Canadian retreats is due 120 days before the start date of the retreat.

4. The remaining balance is due 90 days before the start date of your trip. If the balance is not paid on or before the due date, Rise Yoga and Wellness reserves the right to treat your booking as cancelled, and your deposit will be forfeited.

5. All deposits and payments are non-refundable, regardless of circumstances. 

6. If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date, Rise Yoga and Wellness reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

7. In the event of cancellation by the customer the following applies: 

We do not offer refunds on deposits or payments under any circumstances. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat.

a.) If you cancel your booking at any point, you will forfeit your $500 deposit and all payments made up to and including the date of cancellation

8.  Due to teacher cancellations or other situations beyond our control, Rise Yoga and Wellness reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare.

9. Rise Yoga and Wellness  cannot be held liable for any  flight costs, changes, cancellation fees or any expenses related to any of the listed.

10. Rise Yoga and Wellness  reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts and this does not affect the status of any guests who have paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.

12.  The customer shall not use the property except for permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, entertainment, immoral or improper purposes. The customer shall not do anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to Rise Yoga and Wellness and its guests, staff or owners.

13.  The customer shall keep all properties used by Rise Yoga and Wellness fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects in a clean and good condition and shall replace any articles which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and of equal value.

14. Rise Yoga and Wellness  reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate use of any property or any of its facilities by the customer in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions. The customer will be required to vacate the property and Rise Yoga and Wellness  shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability damages or loss.

15. Rise Yoga and Wellness  retains all copyright license rights and sole exclusive ownership of the information, photographs and material displayed on its website. The material may not be modified, copied or used in any other way. You consent and agree that during this retreat photos of you will be taken and that Rise Yoga and Wellness may use these to promote this and all future retreats. 

16.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all the relevant travel documentation and arrives at the airport in time. Rise Yoga and Wellness is not responsible if the customer is refused entry into a country because of an invalid passport. Please note: Some countries require passports to be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of your trip.  

17.  Rise Yoga and Wellness can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.

18.  Rise Yoga and Wellness reserves the right to alter any facility accommodation or yoga activity.

19.  In the event that the customer decides to downgrade their accommodation after monies have been paid, the customer will not be entitled to any refund. If the customer wishes to upgrade the new price will apply.

20.  The customer must comply fully with all and any health and safety regulations. The customer must ensure that he/she/they/them is medically and physically fit and able to use our facilities and participate in activities. Customers who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek doctor’s advice if practicing yoga.

21. Rise Yoga and Wellness is not liable for any injuries to the customer in his/her/they/them use of our facilities or participation in activities. A customer must always stop and rest if he/she/they/them is feeling any pain or sickness and inform the teacher of any previous injuries.

22. Rise Yoga and Wellness cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the customer.

23.  In the event of a customer having any complaint then he/she/they/them will not discuss this with any third party and shall notify Rise Yoga and Wellness as soon as possible.

24. Rise Yoga and Wellness  shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This covers natural disasters, war, ‘acts of God’, closure of airports, civil strife, accidents, pandemic, governmental changes, or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors. Should ‘force majeure’ impede or prevent Rise Yoga and Wellness  from hosting a retreat or should the client decide to cancel based on events of ‘force majeure’ there is a zero refund policy.We will convert all monies paid into travel credit that can be applied to a future Rise Yoga and Wellness retreat.  This credit is transferable and expires one year after the initial retreat date.

25.  Rise Yoga and Wellness accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the customers stay or travelling time.

26.  We strongly recommend that all customers have comprehensive travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip. Should a customer decide to shorten their stay there is no refund entitlement.
