Bridal Store Assistant (2 positions open)

Contract: 1 year Location: Unions Bridal Boutique (On-site) Schedule: Saturdays, Sundays, and select weekdays required

Overview

Unions Bridal Boutique is looking for a warm, dependable, and versatile Bridal Store Assistant to support our day-to-day store operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves bridal fashion, is tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, people centred environment.

Responsibilities

Operations Management
• Assist brides during fittings and help them find their perfect wedding look
• Process transactions accurately and manage daily sales receipts
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media platforms
• Maintain our social media presence through engaging posts and customer interaction
• Design marketing content using Canva to support campaigns and events
• Help organize, unpack, and manage store inventory
• Support wedding day preparations by assisting brides on-site as needed
• Liaise with vendors for planning and customer support tasks
• Record and organize daily receivables and measurement data

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in retail or customer service (preferred)
• 5 CXCs including Mathematics and English Language (required)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable using social media and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)
• Familiarity with QuickBooks POS and Microsoft Office is a plus
• Flexible availability on weekends and some evenings
