Join us on Wednesday, October 29th from 9AM-12PM at the Solano County Water Agency native plant nursery for a Halloween-themed workday! We will be working on a variety of plant propagation tasks that may include transplanting, seeding, cutting propagation, and more! This is a collaborative project between Putah Creek Council and the Solano County Water Agency.
Please wear sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. No previous experience is necessary!
As of October 2, 2025, per Solano County Water Agency policy, volunteer events taking place at Sackett Ranch are limited to 12 people, all of whom must be over the age of 16. Those ages 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is a special Halloween-themed workday! It will open with "scary stories" about invasive plant species in the Putah Creek Watershed. Guests are welcome to come in nursery-appropriate costume, but are not required.
