After school photography workshops

Welcome! We’re The Art of Seeing Academy, a registered NZ charity that helps children explore their creativity, build confidence, and express themselves through the power of images. Our after-school workshops are fun, supportive, and inclusive – designed for kids of all abilities to learn new skills while seeing the world in new ways. We look forward to having your child join us!

Does your child have any special needs?

We work with many children with ADHD, ASD, and other learning challenges such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, and more. Photography is a universal tool that helps children express themselves in new ways. If your child has any specific needs, please let us know below so we can tailor the programme to support them.

Does your child have a camera they will be using?

Preferred day of the week

The workshops run 3.10pm - 4.15pm. Please select the days of the week that work for you in Term 3.

After-school photography workshops – important information

By enrolling your child in our after-school photography workshops, you agree to the following:

Each workshop runs for 60 minutes. The cost is $30 per session or $300 for the full term.
Every child will have their own online portfolio, with their best photographs featured weekly. Portfolios help boost confidence and can be easily shared with friends and whānau.
Enrolment is for the full term. Payment is required in advance. Fortnightly and monthly payment plans are available – just let us know after registration.
Each child will use a camera during the sessions. If they don’t have their own, we’ll provide one. Cameras stay with us and are not taken home.
If your child will be away (e.g. unwell or on holiday), please let us know in advance. A credit for that session will be carried over to the next term.
If we are unable to run a session, we’ll organise a replacement class.

Submitting this form does not guarantee a place in the programme. We manually review all submissions to make sure we have enough space on the day and enough cameras available. We’ll confirm your child’s spot via a separate email.

If you have any questions or want to discuss a payment plan, feel free to get in touch.
