The Summit will be held virtually over Zoom. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requests. We will do our very best to meet them.

You're invited to attend any and all of the panels once registered, but we'd like to get a sense of your interest. Please check off the programs you plan to attend. (All times are in EST). Recording: We plan to record all panels (only) and make those available to registrants after the Summit for a limited time.

7:00pm EST - COMMUNITY CONVERSATION: "Let's Talk About Author Bans" - Join Rhonda Roumani and Autumn Allen with other KidLit creators for a community conversation on how authors, illustrators, and creators face event cancellations and censorship. Moderated by Rachelle Cruz.

We’re asking that attendees donate to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) for children in Gaza to register. PCRF has provided medical care to children since 1991.

As a collective of children's book creators, we believe "the children are always ours" and at the center of all we do. To that end, in order to join us for our inaugural Story Sunbirds Summit on October 4th, a full day of panels, events, and community spaces, we're asking that you donate to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) for children in Gaza to register.

Give what you can, but our suggested donation is $15 per program or $75 for the entire Summit.
