Formed in 2001, this three-piece band consists of Hiroyuki Morikawa, who is active as and provides music for TV and commercials while working as a recording engineer; Shota Sato (Bass), an art director and designer; and Yosuke Kinoshita (Drums), an illustrator and artist. A unique bond unites them—they attended the same school from elementary through high school.
The band has released four full-length albums and two mini-albums. While their music is rooted in simple instrumental arrangements, their evocative compositions—painting vivid landscapes and blending lyrical melodies with occasional emotional performances—have set them apart from other post-rock bands. Their work has received praise both in Japan and abroad. They have shared stages with international artists, including .
In 2010, they went on hiatus after a live performance at OTODAMA, choosing to focus on their individual pursuits. Five years later, in 2015, they embarked on an 8-city solo tour across China, attracting over 4,000 attendees, including sold-out shows in Shanghai and Beijing, before once again pausing their activities.
Now, after 10 years, they return for a long-awaited live performance.
