Study of RPG Players Preferences

The survey aims to examine the Players preferences regarding the number of available options when creating and progressing a character. The survey is anonymous and your answers will be used only for scientific purposes.

In order to standardize the nomenclature in the survey, the person playing the game will be referred to as the "Player", the character of that person will be referred to as the "Character", and the person running the RPG session as the "Narrator".

The survey assumes that you have participated in an RPG session as a Player ran using at least one of the following systems: Call of Cthulhu 7e, Pulp Cthulhu, Vaesen - Nordic Horror Roleplaying, Trail of Cthulhu, Fear Itself, The Secret World - Savage Worlds Adventure Edition, Chronicles of Darkness, Hunter: the Vigil 2e, Candela Obscura. Experience in the role of Narrator is not necessary.
