The YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AWARDS are all about celebrating young talents in

the surface treatment industry. These awards shine a spotlight on professionals under 40 who are making a difference through innovation, professional excellence, and social impact.

Whether you are that inspiring individual, or you know someone who deserves the recognition — now is the time to apply or nominate a colleague!

TWO AWARD

1. RISING STAR AWARD (Benelux)

The Rising Star Award celebrates exceptional young professionals (under 40) who are shaping the future of the surface treatment industry. This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding potential, innovation, and dedication through impactful projects, unique case studies, or leadership in challenging initiatives. Nominees must be put forward with clear examples highlighting their promise and contributions to the field

Jury The jury consists of managers from VOM and Vereniging ION and the presidents of both associations.

2. YOUNG VOM VOICE AWARD (for Young VOM members only)

Celebrates an active member who stands out through sustainability, networking, volunteer work, or other impactful actions.This award is chosen by public vote — make your voice heard and cast your vote using this form.

Applications and nominations can be submitted until October 3, 2025 CELEBRATING OUR LAUREATES

The winners will be officially announced and celebrated during the networking evening of Future Surfaces 2025 congress and exhibition, taking place on November 19 in Edegem.

Young VOM Voice Award (Member of Young VOM) : Celebrates an active member who stands out through sustainability, networking, volunteer work, or other impactful actions.
