**An eco-action (with a lowercase e) is an individual or collective organized action, carried out on a voluntary or professional basis, that aims to have a positive impact, directly or indirectly, on improving the health of the biosphere. It is mainly defined according to the type and level of impact sought, the sector where it is applied and its geographic scope. An eco-action is part of a real process of engagement of "eco-conscious" people. It goes beyond the "eco-gestures" imposed by municipal obligations such as domestic recycling, water restrictions, polluting vehicle taxes, etc.
