Resume

Reading our website, tell us why you would be a good fit at Therapy on Fig.

How are your personality, temperament, psychology, and life experience relevant to your work as a therapist and within a group of therapists?

As part of your application for the Associate Therapist role at Therapy on Fig, we ask that you submit a short video (2–3 minutes) answering the following question:

"Who do you think you work best with (ex: I work best with highly sensitive men who desire deeper connections with their partner, friends, but persistently feel let down)? Be as specific as you can!"

We use this video to get a feel for your clinical presence, not to judge your tech skills—so don’t worry if it's not perfect. We're looking for someone who embodies clarity, intention, and care in how they show up, both with us and with clients.

Tips for Your Submission:

Please record yourself speaking directly to the camera. This is an opportunity for us to get a feel for how you naturally present yourself, which is part of what clients experience in their first impressions.

Keep the video simple and relaxed—no need for high-end production.

Aim to record in a quiet, well-lit environment with minimal background distractions.

We recommend using a real background (not virtual) that feels professional, calm, and intentional. A bookshelf, plant, or tidy workspace is perfect.

Please speak clearly, and dress as you would for a first session with a client.

You can upload your video as an unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link, or share a Google Drive link with permissions set to “anyone with the link can view.”

Describe how you are in a community. What role do you usually play? How do you contribute?

How has Internal Family Systems (IFS) influenced your growth as a therapist and your work with clients? If not familiar with Internal Family Systems, what modalities have influenced your growth as a therapist and your work with clients?

If we contacted your most recent supervisor as a reference, what would they say about you?

Are you available to consistently see clients in person at our Highland Park office at least half a day per week? *We are looking for someone who can provide hybrid (virtual and in-person therapy)

Do you have a private space with reliable wifi and your own computer to provide virtual therapy from home?

Are you able to see a minimum of 18-20 clients a week?
