Who We Are:
BC17 Publishing represents the operating entity for the upcoming release of Rise and Reign: The Story of The Champion Boston Celtics. The novel is a full-text rendition of the history, moments and memories of the legendary, best-performing Boston Celtics NBA Team, and the city that accompanies it. In addition to the release and sale of the novel, the organization also facilitates themed events for promotion of the book and enhancement of the fanbase community.
About The Role:
We are looking for several outgoing, engaging and upbeat individuals to join our family as solicitors, our “street team”, to assist in our promotional efforts. This role is primarily in-the-field pitching our case to people across the region. This may sometimes be awkward, or strange in nature, but is important to our overall success. Additionally, some minor paperwork will be needed and can be done remotely from the location of your choice. NO in-person meetings with management are necessary for this position.
About You:
The successful candidate(s) will have as many of the following qualifications as possible:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- 1-2 Years previous experience/education/training in sales, marketing or a related field preferred
- Must be a self-starter, motivated by success and engaged in the position.
- Strongly Preferred that you are a fan of the Boston Celtics
- Willing to approach strangers, spark conversations and make a persuasive pitch
- Access to transportation (with reasonable reimbursements) to needed areas across the region
Benefits And Getting Started:
- Compensation is primarily based on results. Your 1099 contract will guarantee payment of $3.95 per hour for hours worked in the field. Remote hours not engaged in sales will be paid at $16.50 per hour.
- Commission based on performance will range from $0 to $25 per hour depending on specific benchmarks for each individual shift. Simply put, you win when we win.
- Transportation Reimbursement of $0.55 per mile, up to $25 per shift.
- Schedules are generally flexible within a reasonable structure.
