Platform & Backend Engineer

We are a stealth-mode startup quietly engineering software that will transform how users interact with systems using state-of-the-art AI technologies. Our founding team is composed of seasoned technologists and inventors, each with a track record of building global product portfolios valued in the billions.
We’re seeking a Platform and Backend Engineer who will define and build the foundational architecture for our platform—the bedrock upon which our applications will thrive. You’ll collaborate closely with application developers, translating their needs into platform capabilities that turbocharge development. From the start, you’ll architect the platform for scale using cloud native technologies. You will also be responsible for ensuring that data flows seamlessly throughout the stack and is stored securely.
We are looking for a Platform and Backend Engineer with 4+ years of experience who has:
• Programming Proficiency: Adept in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, and C#.
• Cloud Native Technologies: Experience in Microservices, Container, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Database Versatility: Deep expertise working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and beyond) as well as NoSQL systems (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch).
• Data Lifecycle Expertise: Skilled in all aspects of data management—collection, storage, integration, quality, and pipeline design
• Collaborative Mindset: Experienced in partnering with Data Scientists and AI Engineers
• Modern Data Paradigms: A strong grasp of Data Mesh and Data Products, Data Fabric.
Understanding of Data Ops and Domain Driven Design (DDD) is a plus
