3-3-3 Rule

A new dog takes 3 days to realize he has a new home and will not be abandoned again.

A new dog takes 3 weeks to adjust to their environment and understand the new routine.  Your new family member will start to adjust and relax more.

A new dog takes 3 months or longer to finally feel at home.  Some dogs will take longer than others, so do not be surprised if your dog is still nervous.

By signing below, you understand that adopting a rescue dog is a commitment. These dogs have not a stable home and have experienced numerous changes of environment and will take time to adjust.  Rescue dogs can take several months before they feel like their new adopters are their family.  Be patient with these dogs as they have been through a lot of trauma.  Any and all information about the dogs are disclosed to ensure the best possible match, but issues might arise.  If the dog is unable to be provided for by the adopters, adopters are required to contact the rescue and ensure the dog is returned to the foster. Dogs are not to be rehomed without permission.  Dogs are microchipped and the ownership remains with the Peppy Pet Rescue.

Adoption fee is $175 for dogs over 6 months.  Adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of

age is $200.  Adoption fees are non-refundable.
