Sponsorship of local groups, clubs, schools and organisations during the development phases of our projects is a valuable way to contribute to local communities.
Stromlo Energy will provide financial support for a range of sponsorship opportunities that benefit local communities during development. This support is open to community purposes and needs including health and social welfare, safety, environmental, educational, youth projects, sport and recreation, culture, the arts, economic development and tourism.
During the first year of investigations for The Pines Wind Farm there will be two rounds of funding:
During the development phase, there are two rounds of funding per year:
ROUND 1: Applications to be submitted by 5pm 30 August
Successful applicants notified by 30 September
ROUND 2: Applications to be submitted by 5pm 28 February
Successful applicants notified by 31st March
Early sponsorship funding will continue throughout the development phase of the project which runs until planning approval.
