Peachy Day is a migraine care app dedicated to empowering patients with AI-powered health tracking and other medical & lifestyle interventions. Our mission is to redesign migraine care to be more accessible, personalized, and stigma-free for the 1 in 6 Americans and 1B+ worldwide living with this debilitating condition.
Founded by a team with 125+ combined years as migraine patients and 50+ as headache neurologists, we are backed by AlphaLab Health, Highmark Health & Allegheny Health Network, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Techstars Founder Catalyst. More at: https://www.peachyday.co/ Role Overview We are seeking a Product Design Intern to shape the future of migraine care through empathetic, research-driven, and beautifully executed design. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about digital health, women's health, or health inequity. You’ll play a key role in designing patient-centric experiences that balance medical accuracy and user delight at a fast-growing startup. Responsibilities
- Design user-friendly and visually appealing features for the Peachy Day mobile app to deliver insights and treatments that reduce migraine frequency & severity. - Translate user research and health equity principles into wireframes and prototypes. - Lead interview sessions or focus groups with patients & providers, and iterate based on feedback. - Evaluate our app for accessibility and make recommendations on universal design. Qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or proven track record. - Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app or web design projects. - Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools). - Excellent communication skills and ability to present design rationale. - Comfort working with feedback in an iterative design process. Extra Peachy Points - Passion for migraine awareness, chronic illness communities, or health advocacy. Perks - Part-time role (10-15 hrs/week) with hourly compensation. - Location flexibility: remote or hybrid at Pittsburgh office. - Hands-on experience at a fast-growing health startup. - Collaborative product team environment reporting directly to the CEO. - Potential for a long-term role as Peachy Day expands.
