Strategic Alliances and Business Development Manager - Plant Nutrition and Protection

Job Description

GreenGrahi is an advanced bio-manufacturing company revolutionizing the livestock and agriculture sectors with sustainable, high-quality functional ingredients. As we grow rapidly, we are seeking an experienced Business Developer to acquire and nurture new clients for our plant nutrition and protection business across India, GCC, Europe, and the USA.

In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships and driving B2B sales with fertiliser companies and distributors, and FMCG companies. You will collaborate closely with our R&D and formulations team, production team, and sales team to deliver customized solutions and products to our strategic customers.

Key Responsibilities 

 1. Business Development and Category Growth:  

- Drive institutional sales and expand the plant nutrition and protection business in India and global markets.  

- Identify and develop opportunities in emerging markets and establish long-term customer relationships.  

2. Sales Expertise in Biological Products:  

- Proven experience in selling bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and biologicals to B2B customers.  

- Lead techno-commercial sales initiatives, business development, and strategic account management.  

3. Customer Engagement:  

- Develop relationships with B2B clients, including fertilizer companies, FPOs, distributors, FMCG companies, and plantations.  

- Strategically manage accounts and implement tailored programs for different customer segments.  

4. Regulatory Knowledge:  

Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements for introducing biological products in target geographies and customer markets. 

Qualifications

1. Education:  

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Sciences, Agronomy or Crop science, Biotechnology is essential.  

- Master’s in Agri-Business or Agriculture Sciences is preferred.  

2. Experience:  

- 7–10 years of work experience in sales and business development in the plant nutrition and protection industry.
