Open Call for Visual Artists 2025/26

CreArtBox, a NYC based chamber music collective, invites visual artists to create innovative artwork, videos, or installations to be integrated into our live performances. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate in an interdisciplinary dialogue between visual art and classical music.

We are seeking visual artists to create work that will enhance and interact with live classical music in fresh and innovative ways. While our focus is on visual arts, we are also open to interdisciplinary projects that incorporate elements of theater, dance, or other creative forms, stepping beyond traditional boundaries and exploring the intersections between art forms.
Selected artists will initially participate in small-scale collaborations, where their work will be featured as part of CreArtBox performances alongside other artists. These projects will pave the way for larger-scale opportunities, including commissioned grants for major works.

In 2023 and 2024, CreArtBox commissioned two large-scale art pieces with grants of $10,000 each.

Additionally, your work will have the opportunity to tour across the United States and Europe, gaining exposure to international audiences as part of CreArtBox’s dynamic and immersive performances.
