We, the undersigned, are proud supporters of The Building Complex and the role it plays in our West Haven community.
The Building Complex is more than just a sports and event facility—it is a safe, positive, and welcoming space where children, adults, and families can gather, play, and grow together. It is Latina-owned, sister-owned, and veteran-owned, and it has brought new opportunities, programs, and events to our neighborhood that enrich the lives of many.
Currently, The Building Complex is restricted to an 8:00 PM outdoor curfew, which limits its ability to serve adult players, working parents, and community members who can only participate in the evenings. This restriction impacts not only the growth of The Building Complex but also the countless individuals who benefit from its programs.
We believe The Building Complex is a positive addition to West Haven and an important community hub. By signing this petition, we show our support for The Building Complex and its continued growth, and we ask that it be given the opportunity to extend its outdoor operating hours in order to better serve the community.
