Thank you for your interest in joining the Localism Fund Expert Network — a peer-to-peer attested network of trusted experts supporting Localism Fund’s mission to empower credible local networks and place-based groups to nurture political, economic, cultural, and ecological localism, while demonstrating Ethereum as a foundational infrastructure for this purpose.
We’re seeking experts to join this network who bring experience across fields such as grant-making, Web3/Ethereum tooling, and localism (political, economic, cultural, or ecological). Together, network experts contribute knowledge, mentorship, and insight that advance the development of credible, community-driven systems for coordination, funding, and impact—ensuring that Ethereum becomes practical, accessible, and empowering infrastructure for local flourishing.
Participation in the network is flexible and voluntary — you choose how and when to engage based on your expertise and availability.
While we aim to grow this network to include a diverse range of relevant experts over time, we are currently prioritizing those who have capacity to contribute (with compensation) toward
Local Grant Programs | Round 01 — where experts will help evaluate, mentor, and support local hubs as they design and deliver credible local funding programs rooted in localism. Experts may also provide tooling feedback, system design input, and community guidance.
💰 Compensation: A total pool of $5,500 USD + 10,000 CELO has been allocated for Round 01, distributed across contribution tiers ranging from $200–$1,200 USD + onchain badges via Prosperity Pass.
🧠 Validation & Reputation: Experts are verified through TrustGraph, a new peer-attestation network that maps trust and expertise onchain. Once validated, experts receive a Localism Fund Expert Badge, a portable credential representing their contribution and reputation in future rounds.
