Version 2025-10-1 of our Code of Ethics is focused on documenting ethical considerations specific to the narrow scope of foresight methodology practices. This version is not meant to be prescriptive but to highlight best practices and guidelines, and to create a context for discussions. is an attempt to:
- Foster discussions on ethical norms in the foresight field
- Document the ethical responsibilities of our work
- Signal to the public and to member clients that APF members are committed to the ethical and best practices of the foresight discipline.
Your perspective is critical to this process. If you have ideas about how the Code of Ethics can be improved, please share any comments or updates you have on the Code of Ethics. These will be considered for later releasese.
