Poplar & Pine Afterschool: 2025/26

Please complete a separate form for each child you are registering. Select the meeting day(s) and session(s) your child will attend afterschool. If a date notes that a group is FULL, you can continue to register without being charged and will be placed on the waitlist.

The afterschool program is for children ages 6-11 and runs from 2:45pm to 5:30pm. Parents are responsible for transporting their child from their school to Belle Vie Farm. Each day of afterschool is subject to a minimum attendance of 4 children.

Because safety is our number 1 priority, if your child is neuro-divergent or may need additional attention for any emotional, social or health related reason please contact us before signing up.

Please note that we will not be meeting on Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Teacher Workdays and holidays. Prices for each meeting day are prorated for the number of times our group will be meeting during the session. You are welcome to sign up for more than 1 meeting day per week and for more than 1 session.

By signing this form, I acknowledge that I have registered for the aforementioned Afterschool Program days at Poplar & Pine Nature School and hereby give approval for my child to participate in any and all activities prepared by Poplar & Pine Nature School. In exchange for the acceptance of said minor child’s candidacy by Poplar & Pine Nature School, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Welch Holdings LLC/Belle Vie Farm/Poplar & Pine Nature School and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from Welch Holdings LLC/Belle Vie Farm/Poplar & Pine Nature School.

In case of injury to my child, I hereby waive all claims against Welch Holdings LLC/Belle Vie Farm/Poplar & Pine Nature School including all staff and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event and/or program. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all farm activities. I also acknowledge the following: Under North Carolina law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
