ICJP Canada, and Al-Haq sent two letters to the Board of Canada Soccer, demanding they take action to ensure the Israel Football Association is suspended from FIFA. The first letter was sent to Canada Soccer through Board President Augruso, detailing Canada Soccer’s responsibility under the statutory provisions applicable to it under various soccer regulations and international law. The second letter, from 270+ legal experts, journalists, healthcare workers, etc., was sent directly to Board Vice President Bérubé, whose “passion for human rights is matched only by his passion for soccer”, says
