Understanding the roles and experiences of corporate medical/health librarians

Purpose: To discover and better understand the roles and experiences of other librarians employed in corporate medical/health positions.

Survey respondents: We have identified possible corporate medical/health librarians from the list of exhibitors at the 2025 Medical Library Association (MLA) Annual Conference, and the MLA Health Association and Corporate Librarian Caucus. For this survey, a corporate medical/health librarian is defined as an individual employed at a medical/health company or organization who uses the skills they developed as a result of their Library degree (MLS, MLIS, etc).

Survey contents: This survey covers topics such as professional background, job responsibilities, and professional development and/or continuing education activities.

Participation in this survey is voluntary and completely anonymous. It will take about 15 minutes.
