The VI-EPSCoR 2024 Annual Conference November 7th & 8th Call For Abstracts

Call For Abstracts

VI-EPSCoR will host a poster session on November 8, 2024 (time & location TBD) during the VI-EPSCoR Annual Conference for undergraduate students, graduate students, and early career researchers funded by the VI-EPSCoR R2R project. There are 25 slots available for the poster session. Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference organizers and must be submitted by 4:30 pm October 20, 2024.

The poster session location and set up details will be announced soon. Presenters must plan to remain with their posters throughout the assigned session. The poster content is up to the presenter; organizers have no specific requirements for what must be included. To attach posters to the display boards, T-pins as well as easels will be provided at each poster presentation space. VI-EPSCoR will print the posters.

Submission Details

A poster submission pertains to one paper submitted by an individual or group that will be presented in a poster format. To submit a poster you must complete the abstract poster submission form below. When composing your abstract, please use a text editor (i.e. MS Word) and upload your file using the button below.  

Poster dimensions are 36” x 48”.

The deadline for submitting posters is 4:30 pm October 25, 2024.

The abstract should include purpose, method of study and, if available, results and conclusions. Abstracts will be part of the online program booklet available to conference attendees. Please be sure to fill in this form as completely as possible and read all the requirements below for abstract length.

The Call for Abstracts is open until 4:30 pm October 20, 2024. • This poster session is open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and early career researchers working on or funded by the VI-EPSCoR R2R project. We can accommodate up to 25 posters.

• Presenters should plan to remain with their posters for the full session. Poster content is up to the presenter. T-pins and easels will be provided. VI-EPSCoR will print the posters.

• Abstracts will be part of the online program book available to conference attendees. Please be sure to fill in this form as completely as possible and read all the requirements below for abstract length.

You also hereby give permission to VI-EPSCoR to use your name and any images or photographs taken of you during the Annual Conference for promotional purposes and more.
